Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: When is the best time to visit Argentina, Chile and Uruguay?

A: That depends on whom you talk to. For local Argentines, Chileans and Uruguayans they generally like to take their vacations in the southern summer months of January and February. However, during the months of November-December and March-April this is when prices are generally lower and venues and attractions have smaller crowds.

But if you’re like most who like to visit their big cities, these places are well worth a visit anytime. If you’re planning on visiting the northern subtropical and desert areas of Chile and Argentina, our summer and fall months from June through October are idyllic.
