Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: While on a trip to Montreal this October, I was wondering if there are any costumed Halloween events I could sign up for?

A: Picture Herman Munster-like characters, caskets, creepy crawlies and anything that goes bump in the night and you have the ingredients for a ghoulish event. Now in its fourth year the Grand Masquerade guarantees spine-tingling pleasure and is not for the faint hearted.

In the heart of Old Montreal, the public along with costumed actors will be celebrating this fright-filled weekend event with lots of nightly entertainment as Halloween revelers participate in a parade, fireworks, performances and even a masquerade ball.

The event is known as The Grand Masquerade and takes place from Friday October 26th through Sunday October 28th including the bewitching hour on October 31st.
