Q: We're going to be in West Hollywood in early June and were wondering besides the usual movie star spotting what other sorts of things might be going on around this time. Any info you have is great.

A: Want to feast on some art and design? Forget the car culture known to run rampant here and get ready to lace up the walking shoes. West Hollywood is planning to roll out the red carpet along Melrose, Robertson and Beverly Boulevards during its annual Avenues of Art & Design Walk.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Over 150 individual showrooms including antique shops, art galleries, fashion boutiques, jewelry and specialty shops are expected to participate in the event which started seven years ago.
