Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: We are going on a cruise and would like to get information on the ports we will be stopping at. Would it be possible to give me details on how to reach the Italian Tourism Office so we may inquire about literature?

A: The Italian Tourism Office is a wonderful resource. If you contact them, they will be able to send a variety of brochures on the various ports of call throughout Italy.

Alternatively, you can visit them on the Web at http://www.enit.it/comemuoversiset.asp?Lang=UK&TIPO=122 for port location listings in Italy. Some of the more popular ports include Civitavecchia (www.civitavecchia.com), Sorrento (http://www.sorrentotourism.com/), Naples (www.inaples.it), Capri (www.capritourism.com) and Portofino (http://www.portofinobayarea.com).

The Italian Government Tourist Board can be reached by calling (416) 925-4882. Their official web site is www.italiantourism.com and the office is located 175 Bloor Street East, Suite 907 South Tower, Toronto M4W 3R8.
