Q: My husband would love to see the Kentucky Derby live, just once in his life. Where would we get information on a complete package, air, hotel and tickets to the Kentucky Derby? Your help would be appreciated.

A: Susan Dallas, Marketing and Communications Manager for the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau recommends that if you wish to request tickets for next year's Derby, you need to write Churchill Downs. "They do not take phone calls," says Dallas and adds, "The request must be done in writing."

Send your name, address, phone, and number of tickets to: Terri Camp, Churchill Downs, 700 Central Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40208. Tickets can be requested beginning the day after this year's race.

Next year's Derby will be on May 7. For Derby packages, Dallas lists the following travel agencies in Louisville: Visitours (502-456-2772), The Convention Connection (502-899-1701), and Tours Plus (502-897-3789).

The Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau also lists Derby package information at its web site,
