Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: Weíre taking a quick flight to Quebec and were interested in doing some skiing. I wonít have a car. Iím hoping you can let me know of a way to get to some ski resorts.

A: Why not rent a car? Right now Hertz Rental is offering travelers now through the end of the ski season, one free lift ticket at ski resorts, Mont Tremblant, Mont Sainte Anne and Stoneham when you book at any participating Hertz location in Quebec. The free lift ticket is provided at the time of rental at any Hertz location in Quebec. They will be physically handed out at the counter.

In addition, renters can also take advantage of Hertz Ski Rates, currently available through April 30, 2006, at 32 car rental locations throughout North America, including Montreal and Quebec City. The rental company reports you can save $50 on weekly rentals or up to $20 off weekend rentals. When making reservations, be sure to quote the promotion code 971946 for the $50 discount weekly rental and promotion code 973114 for the $20 discount weekend rental.

Weekly rentals require a five-day minimum keep and a Saturday night stay. Some other restrictions may apply. In addition, the car rental company reports renters can earn Aeroplan Miles on all qualifying rentals. For reservations call Hertz at toll-free 1-800-263-0600 or visit the company online at http://www.hertz.ca.

Hertzís free lift ticket offer is valid through the end of the 2006 ski season.
