Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: What kind of museums are in Montreal? We would like to check out a couple on our next visit there. Even if you could direct us to a web site where we could read about the museums would really help us out.

A: A city that boasts over 30 museums, the ample supply of Montrealís cultural institutions will keep you busy for days. Thankfully you can easily learn more about them by visiting www.museesmontreal.org. If interested, you can purchase their Montreal Museum Pass for $45. This pass gets you three days of unlimited access to the listed museums. Among the venues you can visit are the Just For Laughs Museum, Montreal Biodome, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the McCord Museum of Canadian History.

For other travel information on Montreal phone the Montreal Tourism Association at (514) 873-2015 call toll-free 1-877-BONJOUR (266-5687) or visit them online at www.tourisme-montreal.org.
