Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: When is the peak season in Tahiti?

A: Travellers to this part of the world officially known as French Polynesia generally visit from June through mid-September. “This is when we get the majority of our visitors coming to the islands of Tahiti. The Austral Islands (which are the southernmost group of islands of French Polynesia) are not heavily visited during any time period throughout the year,” says Jonathan Reap, director of communications for Tahiti Tourism North America.
