Q: I've heard that many states offer free traveller guides. The only trouble is you have to know where you can reach them. I'm not sure if this applies to cities as well. Can you let me know if St. Louis has them and who to call? I really appreciate it.

A: You'll find these days any destination provides free travel information of some kind to interested travellers. In the United States, there are literally thousands of various tourist information centres and St. Louis is among them. Contact the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission in North America at toll-free 1.800.916.0040 and request a free copy of the 2003 Official St. Louis Visitors Guide.
