Q: I booked online and paid for three tickets to Florida in January 2003 for a trip this past Easter. Since I hadn't received tickets or confirmation, I called them. There was some talk about the flight not going at 6.30 a.m. but 7.45. I thought it was 7.45 a.m. I received a fax with the original departure time so I updated it. Two days before departure, I found out that our time was changed to 7.45 p.m, resulting in one lost day of a 5-day vacation. After much confusion, I agreed to pay $300 to change my return date to a later day. Later I was told to pay $530.00. I reluctantly paid with the view of taking this matter up when I returned. Do I have a claim? What can I do?
