Petronas Twin Towers

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: When in Malaysia, I would be interested in visiting the Petronas Twin Towers. I'm on a budget so I don't wish to spend too much on a ticket. What's the price?

A: Besides its exotic allure, you'll find Malaysia which purports to be one of the biggest "knock-off" capitals for leather goods, watches, purses, fashion accessories, DVDs and other items also offers the budget traveller some real gems. One money saver is a free pass to the Petronas Twin Towers.

Show up before 9:30 am and receive your free ticket which gets you a video presentation and a timed visit up to the world's highest skybridge. You'll get a bird's eye view of Kuala Lumpur for 15 minutes at which time you'll be ushered back to the elevator.

Be sure to arrive early as the queue is popular among tourists and there are limited tickets issued daily.
