Q: Are there any special wine-themed dinners or packages happening in March?

A: The spring Wine Society series kicks off on March 16 where the featured menu is Aussie-inspired with kiwis, Australian port and other "Down Under" delictables. Prices for the 5-course dinner featuring a specific wine producing region are $60 per person. If you can't make that date don't worry. There's a lengthy events calendar for the Wine and Dine Events that you can easily scroll down at http://www.littleinn.com/events.htm#WineDine.

The Inn has also recently announced that it has received the BYOW endorsement (Bring Your Own Wine). The events start at 7.00PM and runs for approximately two hours.

Eastward, about 3 hours from Toronto, in the winter wonderland of Gananoque, Trinity House Inn is offering some interesting Gourmet weekend packages that include two nights, breakfast & dinner each night with a new culinary theme every weekend. You will feel like you've gone to New Orleans, Morocco or Spain without the jet lag. From $299 per couple.

For more details contact Trinity House Inn at (613) 382-8383/1-800-265-4871 or visit www.trinityinn.com.

And closer to home, about 1 ½ hour drive to Niagara-on-the-lake, there are many restaurants situated on winery estates. Over at Hillebrand and Estates Winery Restaurant, Chef Tony de Luca is transforming locally grown produce into an exotic culinary experience through his popular "Tour of Niagara" entrée, a miniature version of three entrees which change daily. Hillebrand Estates Winery Restaurant is located at 1249 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara-on-the-lake. For reservations call 1.800.582.8412.
